Description
About 40 miles southwest of Blanding, Utah is the Muley Point Overlook. You can drive up to this point almost to the edge and see the most spectacular view of Monument Valley and Navajo Mountain. The view is vast and breathtaking. The road down is not paved and consists of many switchbacks...a real thrill and challenge to the best of drivers. You know, to be honest I'm not crazy about this foreground. The close shaded area is a bit of a let down and the way the terrain works with the POV is a little odd. Now, that being said, the background and the sky are just stunning, and also the water is 100% perfect!!!

1st off "Rich2" Utah is not in the midwest. :O) V. Into my WIHD folder Bob this best your best, if not it's touch and go for the top. I swear I have this Photo someplace..!! The haze makes the back ground SSSOOOOOO Real This is a killer scene. Well Done Bob..

Looking at this image I could almost picture the drive in...not an easy feat from all the way over here in Australia......thanks for the trip in to this wonderful view. Clever work on that left section..just the right amount of shadow to give that great sense of depth the image has.
