Description
One of a series of photos I took from our back yard of one of the most spectacular sunsets I have seen from here. I wish the camera could pick up as many colours as the human eye, because no photo could ever do it justice (that I have taken) without needing a touchup.

Holy guacamole! I thought the sunsets over this side of the Tasman have been spectacular of late, but they haven't come anywhere near this incredible! The harsh edge of the cloud, following the edges of the mountain range looks quite surreal. Thank you so much for sharing this my friend hugest hugs

Phenomenal. I tried looking at it upside-down too and it's somehow even more impressive from being seen at that unreal angle, it stimulates the imagination :-)
