Description
Snow came early this year to the Utah Canyons. 1st time in Sept for 63 years.
It won't last, The sun came back the next day a blazing.
The Melt has already started up high.
Some of the creatures are a bit confused as they stand out against the white.
Lot of snakes caught out of their dens, Praire dogs going nuts, as well as a few hawks.
The deer started down to the lower grazing grounds, then stopped and wondered whats up with this.
A few ranchers are not so happy either. cows are pretty dumb and won't "hoof" away the snow like horses will.
So the Rancher has to take feed out to the herd. Extra time and trouble.
It will all get back to normal.
The snow will start again in Oct, then the land will rest for a few months and the Rancher will work his butt of for the winter..
If only cows were just a bit smarter.

Well for one I like the terrain and textures, and really nice story about Utah! Cows are smart when it comes to a storm, they always go up to the nearest road. Now don't pick on those poor animals, lol! Excellent work Frank! V :)

IMHO, the sky is a little too bright. Nice textures and surfaces.

Very beautiful work Frank. Utah is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. You have depicted it well here.
