What a wonderful image. I like that rich colors, lighting and foggy background which gives good feeling of depth. Maybe you could add some grass, because that green texture looks a bit flat. Anyway, you have my vote.

Thanks all! Believe it or not, the only post processing was to (1) do a quick overall brightening (my laptop's LCD screen is brighter and I didn't notice it was rather dark until I checked on a normal screen) and (2) fix 2 missing polygons in the road. For some reason this never appeared in the 50+ previews I did and the final render showed 2 small missing squares in the dirt area and I'm not sure what happened. I have to admit it came out well, and this program is a breath of fresh air for me compared to Bryce. I can feel my creativity starting to flow once again. :)

Excellent job! I like how bright and colorful it is, great job with the vegetation as well. I know what you're talking about on those "black patches" I had one big one crop up where there were supposed to be rocks in one of my final renders as well.

Excellent image, great depth and composition! Great tonal range and deep blacks the way it should be. The lighting is great and finally an image in which the leafs of the trees don't look flat. Beautiful colors, foliage and a perfect background. Every flower, tree, plant, stone, fence, house, etc is positioned with great care!! No color is flat they are deep and so are the blacks and this is viewed on my calibrated monitor. Did any of you ever hear of the word calibrate??? I bet that Dk3d did. That this image hasn't 40 rankings yet is ABSOLUTELY beyond me! I don't care what Dk3d created in the past, if he's an active member, if he votes a lot on the images of others or if he's the most popular guy, all what counts for me is his image, period! I do a lot of photography and in my spare time I commented on hundreds of photographs in a photography forum. I've seen some professional images passing by and I can honestly say that I know after all these 23 years as an amateur photographer what makes a composition strong. This image has it ALL and all those who haven't ranked or voted it when they viewed it should really grab a book and start studying on colors, composition, lighting, etc.!! Dk3d, a great 100% Vue d'esprit image (the way it should be), no alpha planes, no major post processing and the result is an example for all who love to make something with this beautiful program!!!
