Description

This one has some "issues", namely the poor default texture map on the palm leaves which came with Vue is too low res for high res work (it looks a bit chunky in this image I think) and in future renders I'll need to create a new map... something to work on later though :). Also, I think I need to experiement with Volumetric grass for large coverage areas... not thrilled with the default grass object.

The atmmosphere is excellent and the vegetation is quite well done edspite the problems you mentioned. Excellent render!

This is so beautiful, including the vue grass! Love the lush vegetation and the grass here. What a beautiful image!

Although you don't sound very pleased with this, I think it's brilliant, you can almost feel the misty humidity of the place..excellent work !!!!

Thanks all. I think I was just looking for a bit of a softer feel to it all. Small renders indicated I was on track but the large final showed some things I wasn't thrilled with,.. a sort of messy, sharp pointy feel I didn't expect to be as apparent. Overall I'm ok with it but it definitely showed me some areas I need to pay more attention to in terms of the plants I place around the scene.
