Description

Done for another assignment. Only had a couple of weeks to construct it. Was a lot of fun though.

Very nice work with the texture and bump maps, can't see the colors, but that's fine. Points to you for the well-done atmosphere blur.

nicely done man. Can i offer a little suggestion. maybe scatter some grass, weeds, thistles in the area. if you ever look at pictures of greece or rome there are a lot of thistle plants. maybe some small rocks as well. looks to clean around the ruins.

The foreground (smaller rubble), sky and some of the lighting never got finished. The file got a major bug after this render and I've been unable to open it (or any of my backups) since =

Chris, I was in Athens just last year, and I took a picture of the Parthenon from right around the same spot your picture would have been "taken" (I know it's a 3D render, but it's remarkably realistic). I have to say that I'm suitably impressed. It was under tons of scaffolding when I was there, but the Parthenon was awe-inspiring. You've captured its essence well.
