Description
The Enterprise here is a Bryce creation, by me, and the phaser beam and nacelle glow were created in Photoshop 6. The shuttle is a 3DS model by Staffan Norling, downloaded from www.theforce.net/scifi3d/
The part I love is the crazy shield around the shuttle! I made this using the 3-D Volumetric fire material for Bryce, made by a bloke named Clay Hagebusch, and downloadable in a zip file from his site http://claygraphics.phase2.net/volumetricfire.html
I was messing around, and changed the colours of the fire from a yellow->red to light purple->dark purple. I really think this could be used to make some groovy stuff. I'm hoping this might give someone who looks at it a cool idea, and hopefully let them produce a really sweet space scene!
Well, enjoy anyways!
Oh, I will mention, to make the shield the same shape as the shuttle, I merely duplicated the shuttle, made it a little bit bigger, and set the entire thing as "fire".

I gotta start trying that..have some mats I'd like to change the colors on..very good work doing the Enterprise class in Bryce..there's actual meshes out there, but once you can do your own, you never look back..;) the shuttle's from about 200 years from the future..but only a Trekkie would know that..( and how many 'time tunnel' episodes have there been?..;) great art, keep it up.

Great job with the Enterprise model. The lighting effects are great too.
