Description

Canon 10D + Sigma 28-300mm Hyperzoom (at 300mm) ISO 400 f8 1/350 A sparrow from (near) London...so...a Cockney Sparra' Yesterday I sat outside for a bit, stiffling a cough, and quietly watched the birds. After a while I got a shot of this sparrow looking rather curiously at the fresh bird seed. Although they're supposed to be on the decline, these little things are eating us out of house and home! Thanks for viewing.

Great shot, beautiful light and composition. In our garden we feed them too. Every day a hundred birds of all kind come to eat here. We learned the cats to leave them in peace and this works.
