Description
The slimy stairs gave way to an earthen tunnel which they followed for a bit further. They soon passed an carved stone archway as they entered some underground construction. The sound of murmured chanting could be heard in the distance. Both of them were curious now as to what was happening here below the city. Silently they followed the sounds of the chanting to see what they could find out. They found themselves outside of strange chamber which seemed to have been built around some type of well. Three people stood within the room taking turns reciting some form of passage in an obscure language neither of the thieves recognized.
"Only three of us here tonight.... What is happening to our order?" Stated the women in blue who seemed to have been leading the other two through the ritual.
"M'Lady, I do not have an answer." retorted the armored man.
"Perhaps it is time we remind the others of just why it is important to attend our meetings," said the remaining woman.
The priestess in blue looked on the faces of the other two. "Perhaps you are right. I will think on this and you shall have your instructions when next we meet."
Fearing they would be discovered the two thieves took this opportunity to slip back into the shadows.
**Thanks for viewing... This image at first took too much memory to render to I had to do it in layers.. I hope the finished product looks okay.**
