Description

While visiting Lake Placid, FL this past weekend, I took some neat photos of feeding Grackles. We gave them some bread in the canal behind my in-laws' house and found that they would hover over the water like a humming bird to pick up the bread pieces. They were not as graceful as hummingbirds, but it was neat to watch them swoop around. I'll post a collage of the best shots soon. This one I am posting alone because of the way the water and reflections on it create a really neat abstract background for the bird. And you can see where the wind from it's wings ripple the water, kinda cool! It may not be the most graceful pose, but this one stood out for me. Olympus C-3030z.
