Description

Some of you asked to see more of our farmers market, so here it is. Take a walk with me now, first we shoot passed the six big long rows of goodies, to the far end of the market. Here we find fabulous meats, and as shown in the upper right, breakfast sausage!!! (Apologies to vegans, my wife is one!) Then with mouth stuffed full o yummy, we stroll through the last row first! Flowers and vegies galore, all kinds of gourmet sausages, rabit, chicken. Then past the fresh morels!!!! *sigh* to the "Captains Select" fresh fish!! Great fish VERY fresh! Past the herbs, and more flowers and vegies. Now we come through the back of the third row, some cool crafts here, beautiful wool pillows, and throws from South America. Clothes made of Llama wool. More flowers, herbs, veggies. Organic honey, handmade soaps! And last but not least awesome bakery goods!! Savory rolls, sweet rolls...we make a quick stop between rows three and two, for a big cup of fresh squeezed lemonade! Best in town!! Now through the front end of row two! My favorite, just past the roasted candy almonds, and gourmet sausage (Yes more sausage!) we come to family that makes homemade handmade tamales!! Not the crappy ones from the grocery, or the ok ones from a restaurant, these are the ones grandma makes, well at least, some ones grandma! ; ) These are made with coarsely ground corn, that has bits of jalepeno peppers rolled into it, not too hot, but spicy!! Beef or chicken, I like the shredded chicken!! And you can't eat one without smothering it in the best fresh salsa you've ever tasted! MMMMMMM!!! Down this row is more, yes MORE flowers, herbs, fruits, and veggies! Out and around two the backside of row one, we hear the music of a South American Indian band, very peaceful, lots of flute and guitar. lots of crafts, woodwork, oils, incense, trinkets, bugs in boxes (It's art) hand made toys, jewelry, gourmet olives, fruits, flowers, veggies. WHEW!!! Okay fat and happy, bags full of flowers, veggies, herbs, and bugs in boxes....it's art!! Thanks for viewing, after this next weekend, we better have pictures of this years market!! Have a great Thursday all!! ; )

Fantastic...who knew the farmer's market could be so colorful. They should use this as an advertising poster. The sausages are making me hungry.
