Description

Tim and his dog, Oscar, (no doubt a descendent of you know who) like to drive out into the pasture to check on his horses. Picture idea is from many memories of our family farm life. We liked to drive out into the pastures in the early evening to check on our cattle and one horse. The whole family would usually pile into the pickup and enjoy the beauty of the day's end as we noted the condition of our animals. We would often see a grouse, hawk, rabbit, coyote, deer, or any number of wild creatures as well. Still one of my fondest memories. Figures modeled in Poser 5. Terrains modeled in Bryce 5 and the fir trees are a standard Bryce tree model that I doubled the number of branches. Weeds and grasses by Chris Oldershaw and Judith Ward. Pickup truck is by Onnetz but re-textured by me. Oscar the dog is from Traveler at MorphWorld. Barbed wire fence is a Net freebie by George239 over at 3d Commune. Horse textures are by MoonRose. Thanks, guys! Thanks for taking the time to look. Jeremy

Beautiful. Love the terrain. A couple fence post shadows courtesy the X-files?. :-) ... Old story. An eastern fella was visiting the Palouse River area in Idaho and admired the area horses with their different markings of speckled hind ends. Easterner asked an old ranch hand what kind of horses that was; old hand told him that was A palouser - so they been called Appaloosas ever since. LOL.
