Description

Photo is taken from roof of skyscraper, yes, in Paris. Numerous hours with photoshop has been spent. Original width is 2600pix, so details can't be seen with image this small. But believe me, I ruined the city, house by house. .n

Really cool work indeed Niko, with such an invitingly warm cast offsetting the decimation... how about posting a detail of the central area around what's left of the Eiffel Tower? :-)

I think of a line of the song..."First we take Manhattan, then we take Paris" Would be nice to see a detail, seems you have done a mega job here.

Did you see a Chris Marker movie called "La Jet". It has inspired the movie Twelve Monkeys by Terry Gilliam. Well in this movie there are photos of Paris which really look like these ones !

damn zee french... zee aar not zee peepul zat we vant zo rule ze world... zis ies vonderful work! seriously, I'd love to see some detail as well. Ther colors make it seem as if it is a photo from some world war, or just a dream of an upcoming war. The way you deconstructed the eiffel tower and kept it crisp is great. even the houses behind the eiffel tower look sharp. The greatest part though are the clouds, they have this apocalyptic shape and atmosphere. really great! Do you have a more detailed portion on your website?

Oops, you forgot to add the rubble/debris of the Tower. If that much was destroyed, where's the debris at the foot of what's left? It would be noticable laying across the trees or on the boulevard, in heaps of twisted scrap metal...
