Description

Cover art for Finnish digicamera magazine, Pikseli. Models are Juuso and Peltsi, famous Finnish radio personalities. Idea of the cover was to make similar, brainless, clishe hollywood promo image like can be seen from Matrix, Blade, Underworld, Van Helsing etc. You know, to be cool in kitchy ways, like old kung fu movies. In photo shoot, Juha Tuomi took the model photo, I worked as assistant. Rest of the photos are shot by me. Like this, image seems to be bit unbalanced to right, I had to make room for the text fields. Original height is ~4000pix. .n

huuuuuuu feel my wrath.... i am dark!!!! I am underworld... i dress in leather cuz it looks cooler than spandex... i wear leather outfits because it is sexy, i am gothic, i am cool, i am alternative, i am matrix, i have fashion sense ;) look at my guns, don't they look cool? I am tough i tell you!!! good = good, bad=bad. The world is simple, can't you see it? Yes, the image is very cliche ;) Seems like the moon is out of its orbit... :-s

Looks great to me and works well. And I don't think it is cliched but rather in the Gothic style. There's a difference and it is important. I would suggest that the kneeling guy might work better if he and the other figure were moved slightly to the left so he isn't centered quite so much - but that's just my warped eye talking.
