I have another suggestion and tinker with the water to make more of waves instead of the calm look that you have which only flies for ponds and small bodies of water. The other thing i like to share to you was the possibilities you have in front of you. Think about it. Being able to see both above water like the current view but also under water. Fishes and plants. I think it would be a spectacular scene but that is your scene and you dont have to listen to me. there are plenty of underwater objects in the bryce section here in Renderosity.
