Description

hello to everyone that bothers reading this. If for some reason you missed the question in the image's name, or on the image itself, let me ask you down here. Which image is better??? The story goes, that a friend and I created a landscape together. Once we were satisfied with the landscape we changed things around and made two slightly different images. We are big rivals at everything, so we want to know which is better and why. I wont say which one i made or which my friend made, but if you want to voice your opinion, let the renderosity world hear it. WHICH IS BETTER AND WHY?!?!?! please leave an overall rating aswell. If you want, leave some constructive criticism. THANKS

I like the bottom one just a touch better. The sunlight adds more of a softer glow to the overall scene.

Both have the wrong defraction of light to cloud ratio... other than that, depends on what mood you are trying to set with your imagery... also, if the sun is to the left of the frame the right should be a wee bit darker... Hope that helps! You've an exellent eye :P

Top one is the best. Reasons. 1. The clouds look good and not circles. 2. Snow is more placed out. 3. Where the sun hits on the right there is more ground texture . So I give the top one a thumbs up.

I agree with some but...the first image's snow isn't that great compared to image 2, I find the clouds pretty good in the first image while they could have been improved on the second one, overall it's nice :) you could alsdo a few color adjustments in ps if u can

I would say the top one looks best because the lighting on the water on the bottom looks wrong I think it is reflecting more light than it should be, but overall they both look great.

I also prefer the picture at top. It looks a bit smoother than the other. Also the sky looks nicer. The light looks great at both pictures.

Upper one is the better, but both of them need more working for the surface and water, and also they need another wievpoint(move the camera toward right)

Top pic - I much prefer the clouds; and the water's not too choppy like I think it is in the bottom one; the distribution of the snow is also better in the top version; and at least you have some vegetation there too!

The Upper image. It has a better contrast of light and darkness making it seem more realistic and less blurry.

I like both; however, would recommend choosing the one that sets the mood you are trying to convey. The first makes me feel more about being in the clouds and or heavenly things. The bottom makes me feel like the warm flow of the river even though its cold. I recommend considering the whole composition and its message before choosing. That's my 2 cents.

I prefer the top one because: Lighting is more intense which gives a nicer contrast. I like the hint of green in the landscape on the right I like the white water on the river's edge and the water here is not as rough as the 2nd image. I would like to see more surfaces in both pictures with some darker layers to anchor the picture a bit. On the whole they are both ok pics and without too much scrutiny look the same :S Happy rendering!
