Hi everybody, how you doin'?
This image is to say "hello" to all my good friends here: Alvin, Marty, Jimbo, Vali, Vivian, Melania, Rudolf, Carlo, Willem, Madeleine, Melanie, Francoise, Susan, Sue, Minnhea, AgentSmith and... ok, more or less everyone in the Bryce Forum Family. :) It's been quite a while! I'm still without internet connection, but I hope to solve this problem in the near future. I miss you a lot, guys... ;-)

I'm fairly new to Maya, having dropped recently XSI (which I plan to use again in the future, tho) and, before that, Cinema4D and, before before that, Bryce.
This is mostly an experiment with various render settings [raytraced shadows vs. depthmap ones] and moving my first steps in HyperShade to explore various shaders.
Any tips and critics are more more than welcome.
A big kiss to all the friends I left here last Autumn. I'll be back as soon as I can! :)

Stefano! Welcome back! You were missed a great dael and it's sooo good to see your post! I can't give you any tips because I've never used Maya, but from what I see, your image looks great - the tiles texture looks fab as well as the ball textures. The lighting is great too. Hope to see more posts in the near future! HUGZ

Guardavo per caso questa galleria, ma nn pensavo affatto di trovarci un tuo lavoro. Complimenti: adesso hai tra le mani quello che da sempre considero il mezzo migliore per realizzare il 3D (e anche uno dei picostosi e complessi da usare, purtroppo - o cosi mi hanno detto). Vedo che hai giuna certa pratica, e ti invidio un po', perchmi accorgo sempre pidei limiti di Bryce, malgrado la sua semplicite immediatezza d'uso. Ottima idea, quella di un bicchiere di vino... peccato che io nn regga l'alcool, specie se la bottiglia troppo pesante. hahahahah. Bentornato...:o)
