Description

Hi everyone. This is my tribute to the wonderful young Swedish actress Alexandra Dahlstrom. Last weekend I watched two movies, "The Shawshank Redemption" for the Nth time and the swedish "Fucking Amal - Show Me Love" for the first time. "Show Me Love" is one of the freshest, cutest, most beautiful movies I ever saw, thus my tribute. __________ Some details: rendered at 3840x3072 for printing purposes then reduced for posting, render time 15 minutes with AA best (no radiosity used). I used photographic textures for the wall, the floor and the table and BhodiNut shaders for the rest. Hope you like it. "The Shawshank Redemption" is one of my all time fave movies. "Stefano", one of my all time fave artists. sighs I'm in heaven! LOL Great image and another vote coming your way.

awesome work---shawshank is my favorite movie of all time, and i think i'll look into show me love--sounds pretty intereseting. (shes beautiful!!) anywayz---excellent job on the render, love the lighting and texturing, i almost expect to see Andy dufrain sitting in the corner chipping away at some rocks:) cant stress enough how fast you seem to be picking up this program. vote.

Looks good Doublecrash. Now for CONSTRUCTIVE critiques. I'd like to see a bit more contrast in the lighting. It looks a bit flat at the moment. Additionally, there appear to be a few spots with the cloth that are either intersecting the shelf or the alpha needs some work. Something about the way the wood texture wraps around the end of the shelf is not right either. -- 3d_e

I do love this scene.The deepness of textures,lighting.I jst think the stonework should be a little bigger for the proprtion.But the wood realism is awsome and the angle brackets are cool.Like that stuff.

Shawshank Redemption is an awesome movie.. But what movie by Stephen King isnt?? hehe This is a great tribute to both movies..although I never heard of the second movie. I think this is great.. very nice lighting and I dont see an issue with the wood at all. =) Wonderful work!!!!

Stunning! I love the way the pic is tattered on the edges and curled a bit, then stuck behind the plate on the wall. Fantastic textures and great mood!
