Description
I just love visiting the western US, and scenes like this. Maybe it's because it's so different from the area I grew up in (upstate New York). I love the gnarly trees, rock formations, sagebrush, desert, lizards, ect. Hopefully we will be able to go again next year. This is a digital photo with some tonal adjusting in Photoshop 7.

That's beautiful country there. I went to Arches a couple of years ago and that is also well worth seeing. Good color and contrast in the picture

Fantastic tree, and yes very good country for wide open western images. Joshua tree's would be interesting to see also.
