Description

This is a composite of two of my digital photos, both were originally in color. There was also some tonal manipulation using channels in Photoshop. The Checkerboard Mesa is in Zion National Park, in Utah.

Excellent shots/manipulation. I cant tell where you manipulated it (although i would guess the sky is from a second image). It really looks wonderful.

BW was a good choice here. Perhaps there could be a little more contrast between the mountains and the sky because the sky is quite dark. But anyway I like this image a lot. Reminds me of the mighty of the nature.
