Description

- "...no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Eowyn I am, Eomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him." - Yup. Another LotR image. Besides the figure and basic clothing available in Poser 4, there are no other imports. All of the other Bryce objects were modeled by me. Eowyn's armor is made of a combination of improperly used Poser clothing (the armor skirt is actually part of the trench coat and the brest plate is the men's tank-top) and objects modeled in Bryce (such as the shoulder pads). The textures are, once again, modified versions of the ones available from mayang.com. Bless that site! lol I included some images of this scene while I was still working it out because I think it is always interesting to see the progression of an image from start to finish. hmm...hate to say, but my first thought was I move for no man
MP and the Holy Grail..;) Great work..for Bryce, that's pretty good texturing..doing blonds is a pain, but lunariad.com has a brunette (brown hair.mat) mat that I've used..probably too much..I think there's a redhead mat out there as well..surprisingly..wood mats work well for hair at times..;) keep 'em coming.

It is very good, I like the fog and the picture itself is great, but there are two negative points. First of all the hair looks out of place due to the missing texture. Additionally you need to change the pose. Eowyn has to look towards the Nazgul not down, she is proud and strong, her view should reflect this! Otherwise a wonderful LOTR picture. Great!

I think it is perfect so. ok well maybe the hair could have some retouch, but the fact that she is not looking the nazgul is a touch of class. Even if Eowyn is proud, who would have the courage to look directly in the eyes such an evil creature. She is fierce, she is proud she is noble and she is defending human race, but she is a woman with her fears and her umanity. great work pal!

Although it is a wonderful moment in the book - I thought the same point in the movie was ludicrous. How could Eowyn survive not being crushed by a mace, coming will all the force of a medium size speeding car? Although you have modelled a very similar (an typical of 'Hollywood') mace, your image is subtly powerful. Wish I could say the same of the movie that Jackson treated as a giant cow; milked at every opportunity!
