**OOPS, forgot to allow comments** **It's fixed now.** 2nd to the last of my Cactus series. This is a shot of the base of the huge cactus stand. I'm sure it started out as a lone stalk, but over the years it has grown into quite a city of cacti. I am intrigued by the way it resembles a city, the outskirts being the smaller structures while "downtown" has the massive skyrises. Maybe this shot will help someone identify the type of cactus it is. Thanks for viewing. Olympus C-3030z

Excellent cacti city Kort! I'm a man of the suburbs myself...live where the small ones are and work among the 'skinscrapers'! LOL! Fantastic colors and I really like the composition!

I'm thinking a lower POV would enhand the "city effect" even more...perhaps next time I'm in the area I'll give it a try. *

this is killing me not be able to identify it since i have it growing in huge pots & yes they mulitiply like crazy! does indeed look like a city here! :]
