Description

This the last of my Cactus series. For now. Sorry for forgetting to allow comments on my image yesterday, I fixed it so you can if you want to. While yesterday focused on the base, this is more of an overall shot of the stalks as they reach to the sky. The largest is at least 20' tall so it is quite an impressive sight in person. All those flower bud are ready to burst open...I wish I had been able to get some shots of it in full flower. Last chance for someone to identify the type of cactus this is. ;^] Thanks for viewing and your comments. Olympus C-3030z

oh... i think i have found it... peruvian tree cactus or san pedro cactus... http://www.silhouettesofthedesert.com/spec.html... certainly looks like one of these :]
