Description

Here is a very old picture of mine. I took it onboard the HMCS Nipigon. This Canadian destroyer went out of service a few years ago. It is an artificial reef near Vancouver island. I served onboard this ship as a marine mechanical engineer. No postwork ;) This will be my last picture for the next three weeks. I am going to Jacksonville, Florida!! :D

Hello Sailor...I used to Poison People at Sea...yep, a Ship's Cook.Your Photo is real good, where I Live, there are also Reefs made from these obsolete Craft.

Thanks for all the great comments! I don't know if i will have much time to relax in Florida! I will be involved in a major military exercise. But i will certainly share my pics with you all if they are any good! ;) Tedz was a ship's cook!! Believe it or not but the cooks onboard a ship is highly regarded. When everyone is exhausted and on the line a good meal will certainly bring the moral up a notch!! I told you, no onions in my dessert!! :D Cynlee: What you see is only a small area! ;)
