Description

To escape the unrelenting heat of the Sarodor wastelend, most human settlements are built below the surface. Beneath the Great Basin mountain range lies the sprawling underground city of Fallon. Some fifteen thousand people live within its cavernous chambers and twisting stone halls. Entry to the city is gained through a number of fortified gates dotted around the outlying foothills, each garrisoned by a small number of troops who repel the many marauders who wander the land, including the feared orc army of Mordimus. One such entrance is Nicholson Gate, situated at the foot of a massive cavern formed over millions of years by the rapidly flowing waters of the now all-but-extinct Jacqueline River. Trade is vital to Fallon's survival, with salt and most fresh produce sourced from farms and settlements well beyond the wasteland's borders.
