It looks very beautiful to me! Only Ultra Fractal you say? Then I wonder how youve got a quaternation like 3D fractal... Ive been working with Ultra Fractal for quite some time but Ive never seen a feature like that. Hmmm, it looks like somebody gave you a very low ranking, this image doesnt deserve that...

Thank you for your comment Ralf, I used Dave Makin's MMFt Solid3DQuaternions.ufm with inside coloring MMFa-for3D.ucl (MMF 3D colouring), mind you the gull was a lot more layers :) It's just a fun image.... I'll post you a few UPR examples later.

A very imaginative blending of a classical 3D image and nature. And the seagull is a wonderful little element of suprise. He seems to remind us, not to take ourselves to seriously, especially when it pertains to fractals. Anything goes!!! I adore the reflection, superb job.

I don't know who gave you such a low ranking. This is excellent. I am highly impressed. Thanks for telling us what formula and ucl. It looks like an XD image. My compliments. Love the little gull.

This is a great image, but I hope you don't mind my saying I think the gull is superfluous. He doesn't seem to fit. The 3d quat is really execellent on its own. Great image!

Wow! How wonderful to see a posting from you again, Rupert! Most impressive! You mean the gull is UF too?? I thought for sure it was a "bring in" image! Wonderful and unique work!

I think the bird is terrific. It makes the image for me. There is certainly a lot of room for humor in fractal art. Fantastic work.

An outstanding creation, Rupert. Great use of the ufm's/ucl's/uxf's in UF. And that little bird is just the cream on it.

Hi Maria, (CavalierLady) Thanks a lot for your comment, I should have used Mark's "bring it in" but thought I would see if I could make a gull in UF, not a good idea...to many layers. I might have a go at a butterfly some time..... definitely no dinosaurs ;)

Very striking! Your quat looks like a bit of the sea was frozen in the midst of a wild storm! I love the gull as well. :)
