Description

This is a remake of an early picture; but again, I'm not too happy with the result. I had about triple the amount of alien vegetation, but it all managed to slip below the ground. As it was, I had to nurse it through about three hours of render as it kept flashing an "Unexpected problem; out of memory" message about every three minutes or so. I just clicked the popup closed and it kept rendering! Usually, it just crashes. As it was, when I tried to save the file, it crashed. I probably won't go back and reconstruct the pieces; but maybe someday I'll try a wholly new picture. LOL! Dwayne, don't even say it! I KNOW what those creatures' heads look like. Let's just not go there, okay? I decided they were a cross between an ant and a snail. They also have tentacles around the head, but those are only exposed when males fight each for sexual rights or the winning male uses to slip sperm packets beneath a female's shell. These guys are pretty big. If you were standing beside one, you could walk beneath it without ducking and still clear its "belly" with a couple of feet to spare! Don't think you'd be thinking about limp penises, if you were that close either--they have bad tempers and would likely challenge you. All vegetation and animal objects modeled in GigaHedron Oxygen 1.6 Object Generator. Thanks, Richard, for a great program! Sky is by me as are terrains. Everything rendered in Bryce 5. Thanks for looking. Jeremy

AW SHUCKS - OKEY DOKEY - I WON'T ... I will just grit my teeth and laugh ... but - OHH never mind. HAHAHA. Terrific Jeremy. Lighting, concept and creation all number one. I can sure appreciate the one on the right though ... I have days like that too... jush kinda hang out and look at the ground. (you knew better didn't ya?) :-D
