Description

Mildred, the Milk Maid, is just trying to deliver her milk to her customers, but she has the curse of all beautiful women: She's never going to go past any man and not be noticed--usually with much more unwanted attention than a modest maid as herself would ever want. Wishing she was invisible, she endures the snide remarks, the looks of lust, and tries to ignore the men as best she can. It is a daily gauntlet that she must make, if she is to successfully complete her rounds. It doesn't help that that pesky terrier nearly collided with her chasing a stray cat! There's always something or someone that's seems bent on knocking her jar from her hand--a dog, a horse-drawn cart, a pothole in the street. If the milk is spilt, there is no money to be brought home, which will rightfully upset her poor, hard-working father. These men, with their cat-calls and rude whistles and remarks aren't the first that she's passed today--and they won't be the last. I did this picture because I wanted to show closer views of several of the characters in Tudor Town. Buildings, barrels, and tub are all parts of Virtual Backlot by liteluvr. Street texture is by the same; although a bit modified by me. Woman's dress is the "RDNA Empire Gown" by Traveler and Shadownet and the textures are the "Rags to Riches: Empire Gown Texture Expansion" by Judith Ward. Her skin texture by MaskEdit. Any of MaskEdit's textures are simply among the best. Highly recommended--and I don't usually actively plug products. The Mike 2 Peasant Outfits come from PoserWorld. The hair and beard of the middle fellow is the "Fantasy beard" by Anton Kisiel. Thanks for looking.

The street seems especially "2D"--more than usual. Think it must be the camera angle.
