Description
2nd image with terragen. starting to like it and also starting to see it's downfalls.
can't find any tutorials on how to mix it with some other programs though. so i'm just using terragen with a couple plug-ins and really liking it for a terrain proggie.

Try playing around with the surfaces so you get some more realistic covering. If you download one of the free surfaces - you can see how they are put together. Very helpful. This is a good second attempt (way better than mine :s)

Great POV. Terragen is pretty much a stand-alone program. Photoshop is great for postwork, or TheGimp. Check out World Machine for creating terrains. It's a free program, but it can be a little tricky to use, as the creator didn't really make an instruction guide. :D Cheers! Enjoy Terragen!~

I like this one, very nicely done, you're learning this program very quickly.

ecellente lavoro

Alpo pretty much summarized it. Most of the interesting combining of programs we do is done with postwork. I use Paint Shop Pro. I don't do postwork very often (except resizing and sharpening), but when I do, that's what I use.
