Description

Walking along the mountain ridge I enjoy the view. Mind expansion... The clouds are slowly dissolving. The typical karst landscape (limestone) is very interesting. This particular rock formation (not very karst like) draws my attention. No Aztec or Maya history here. No Chinese wall. No grafitti! :) Just a weird collection of rocks, a tower to look into the depths of the valley. Better be calm now, I don't intend to go down surfing on a rock. It's time to find the track going back into the valley. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

This is an amazing photo, though I'm not sure it calms me. It is energizing to see that dynamic vista below and the stone that look as if they were piled there by a giant!

Fantastic! Reminds me of an area I used to hike along the Palisades in New Jersey. There is a rock there I used to visit often, overlooking the Hudson River. To get ot it I would have to almost climb out to it as it was separated from the cliff by a few feet. Once there it was 500 feet down on all but one side.

incredible rock formation, and my gosh, what a view!!!! I'm a little dizzy teetering so close to the edge!!! i love the designs made by the trees, and, of course, those magnificent clouds!!! vote! P.S. what kind of camera did you end up deciding on? I've used both but find digital much easier...did have fun in the dark room though but that was MANY years ago!!!
