I'm going to have to go out there and find this spot and take a more recent photo. I was wondering when it was taken looking at the cars in the photo.

Cool indeed! however, it would be nice if you wrote a few words int the future regarding the photo, like where and when it was taken.

The Battleship Texas is in the ship channel just outside Houston. The photo was taken in the 70's.
