Description

------------- To Be First

Lujienne, Luzian, Lusian, Luthian, Luthienne, Sister of the Black Flame, Bianaan Sheae, The Elder Witch.

Many names and dubious titles have been heaped upon the heads of those who went first,... into any endeavor. Know then that to be first is not always a good thing. Though Lujienne might not have been the first evil elf, and she certainly won't be the last, she was not Drow. There seems to be some racial prejudice that says only Drow are evil, as thought the elven Gods cleansed the rest of the Elven race and poured all the malice and cruelty into the dark ones, marking them with the color of their evil. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

In a time when humans were living as barbaric tribes with a few holed up in primitive city states, the Sylvisan Elves were already building the massive tree cities of Foxmoor and Cantellzan. Their own civil war had scattered them, and their blood had begun to evolve them to fit their environs. But it would not be the elves who led the younger human race to greatness. Humans would evolve and grow supreme all on their own. In fact, it might be said that humans succeeded despite the influence of elves. For the elves gave humankind many things; steel, adamant, the recurve bow, and magic,... all the devices of war and ambition.

Into this world came Lujienne, a promising Mage who shunned the traditional arts and sought a way to bridge the gap between all forms of magic. Deep inside her lay the dormant genetic codes to do just that, the almost hidden strain of her ancient ancestors, the Krell. She delved there where elven religion and teaching forbade, and through summoning of demons and pacts with unholy powers, she gained the power she sought. By the time the humans had formed the great kingdoms of the Golden Age, Lujienne was all but forgotten in the mists of ancient history and legend. It was the first human Witch Mother, Mantari that tapped into her power, summoning her undead spirit back to the mortal realm. Lujienne, the very first Witch, also had the dubious honor of being the very first Banshee.

I really like the way you flesh out your characters with these backstories. This is a wonderful looking elf, but those glow effects around her are a clear indication that it would be wise to run if you were to encounter her. Beauatiful woodland scene, and beautiful badass banshee! Excellent work.
