Description

Apparently I've gotten distracted from the flower shots I promised... well this is much more interesting to me! Here is the mosh pit I had talked about. The bassist, Rob (the drummer is also named Rob) had a cordless pickup on his bass, so he jumped right off the stage and banged around with their fans for a song or two! I took this from atop my speaker perch. This was the first time I had used my Canon Rebel 2000 at the Rivoli, so I'm getting to see the sheer power of the built-in flash. Thanks to Richard for the Film reccommendations. For this, I used Kodak T-Max 400, and I'm really noticing the difference between this and the Fuji that he hated. He was absolutely right about the contrast and grain... see Richard, I CAN admit when I'm wrong! So, I know this isn't the greatest shot, but I thought it was pretty fun, and would give you all a good idea of the Toronto music scene... Hope you enjoy Rock out!

fantastic action shot! Such great emotion and movement...the light adds a harsh edge which works so well, and I love the way the ducting contains the shot. Excellent
