Fine idea of the trees and mountains which give a world to your relections and light. Well done!

Don't sell yourself short, Mike. At this point I would say that great minds do think alike :-). This is a great piece and the forethough to make the reflected elements is very professional. There is a bit of a grain effect on the face of the glass sphere that defeats the glass effect a bit, but it may be from the texture of the ground. Excellent composition and lighting direction. Keep it up.

BK: I'm not sure where that grain on the glass is coming from. You may be right -- it could be the ground. I just couldn't see it until the render finished, and since it took so long I decided to post "as is," instead of rerendering. Thanks again for the kudos.

I agree with Bountiful this is quite wonderful..I particularly like the rectangle you placed in the scene , gives a good contrast to the spheres...Beautifully done!!!

loswl: Thanks! I hadn't even really considered the rectangle as part of the image -- it's just part of the motif I'm using to frame and sign my images these days. But, looking at it as a whole, I find you're right. The contrast betwen the sharp edges and the smooth curves is nice. Good observation!
