Description

Practicing the layering techniques of the landscape. Did some reading of the forum and tutorials to get started. I tried to add a layer of small purple flower in the foreground, but couldn't get it to look realistic. Still got a lot to learn. It is a bit confusing. Thanks for all the helps and encouragement on my last post. I can tell already this is going to be addicting. Oh Well!

Oh yes! Addicting it is! I still find the layering a bit confusing sometimes, especially the SOpack overlays which often doesn't even work at all :( But ok. It seems you've been using a lot of layers! Try to reduce bumpiness and fractal noise for smoother surfacing and adjust slope/altitude constraints for more realism. This is still a good job, just keep on going!

This is a very good render! The surface looks IMO good. What about another sun position to show more of your layers? :-)
