Description

The three young women are sisters of the king of Northumbria, but at present, they reside at the castle of Kuthbra, the ruler of the neighboring kingdom, Westhalia. This is not by choice. Their brother, Aldar, is new to his throne and he soon busied himself creating a series of incidents and incursions along the Westhalia border. This greatly annoyed Kuthbra, so he kidnapped Aldar's three sisters to use as leverage in getting Aldar's raids stopped. Kuthbra has provided the three women two spacious rooms in the largest tower of his keep. Much to his annoyance, Aldar has been forced to behave himself. However, it doesn't look like his sisters will be going home soon. They are much too valuable to King Kuthbra right where they are; and they are all very much aware of their situation. This is partly because they are bright women, but also because Kuthbra has rather bluntly told them how it was going to be. So we find Merrie, who isn't, staring out the window and wishing she was back home, where she could receive the attentions of the young duke she hopes to marry. Gwynneth, the blonde sister, has just quarreled with her red-haired sister, Elsbeth, about nothing very important. They have been reclused in the tower for several months now and their genteel imprisonment is beginning to wear a bit thin. All of them are frustrated with the situation and very bored with each other's company. Kuthbra has treated them well--like family, in fact. This may be because he is interested in marrying his second son, Dycke, to Gwynneth as another way of keeping Aldar in check. The three cats simply could care less. Credits, where to begin: The Tower Room is a freebie by G. Gilsoul (Evanara). The fireplace, including the wood, the table, the chandeliers and wall sconces are by Alexey Gorbunov, although I changed the textures. Cat textures by Lyne Masamitsu. The rest of Sardor's castle (seen beyond the window) was modeled by me using Gigahedron's OxyGen 1.6. Thanks, Richard! The pillows and woven chests are by me also. Poser 5 cats and Vicky 3 for the sisters. That's mostly it. Thanks for looking. Jeremy
