Description

It turned out, this heron came in with a premeditated purpose. Even though I could not zoom in closer and the shots are not that great, needed some pretty stiff processing, the moment was unusual and exciting.

Exciting indeed...I'd love to even witness this, let alone photograph it. Great job putting it all together.

(If you have been near a heron [not that easy] you know they are BIG, very big ... even though we were not so near to this one, the experience was confusing at first and dramatic in the end and left us worhshipful.) I almost moved to the Pacific Northwest a couple of times ~ every photo of Masema's is superior, crisp and sublime, very enviable, and they take me back there again to the paradise atmosphere I love most about the place!
