Description

And the mining goes on... this time from a quite different POV. Actually this picture was motivated by a comment of my father, who mentioned that so many details in Dwarven Miners are hidden due to the POV. However, in a mine is little space for arranging sceneries... hence I tried the approach shown in this picture. Hope you like it, and thanks for viewing!

Very different approach to this kind of genre. :) I like the illustrative look and the deatils like the rabbithole and the treeroots. Great job! :)))

Great idea and very well executed. I love the details like the little cave under the tree. The only thing I wonder about is the rocks on the left (bottom). They seem to fly. But it remains an excellent picture.

First thing I thought when I saw the thumbnail was "ant farm"! What a terrific idea, love this slice of the earth! And I agree with FrenchKiss...love the bunnies!

Many thanks for the rich and kind feedback! BGHart (about the rocks): it's more a problem of lighting: I didn't want the rocks to cast a shadow (no sunlight down there ;), hence I switched it of for these parts. Which may be irritating.

I always spent hours as a child drawing side-on scenes. This is great! My only critique would be that the cave wall removes focus from the characters.
