Dad
He stands strong
as the mighty oak.
Shoulders wide
as an oxen yoke.
Taller than
the tallest pine.
Faster than
the sands of time.
Deep as
the darkest vale.
Louder than
the strongest gale.
Soft as
dandilion fluff.
Sweeter than
that maple stuff.(maple syrup)
Prowder than
that old peahen.
The man by whitch
you judge all men.
Be he your's by
blood or wisdom.
Pushed you hard
or boo boo's kissed them .
Known by many
many names.
Honored on the day
that father clames!
~ for all those who are dads or became dads or were adopted dads legaly or not and for all those moms who fill boath shoes happy belated dads day ~ ( hey go see all my faves dont miss such good work)
