Description
My brother just called me and the news is not good, but not as bad as it could be. He apparently has the type of Leukemia that is not curable. The Leukemia is slow acting, treatable, but not curable. He said that they don't even begin treatment until it gets in the 3rd stage and that is more to make him comfortable than anything else. They also said that he could go on okay for 30 to 40 years and die from something else.
So, there it is. I am not sure how to feel about the way they treat this disease, so I'm going to look it up on the internet. I need a more complete understanding of this disease.
This is in God's Hands and I'm just going to have to make my peace with that.
God Bless you all...Cheryl

Well I guess that is a sort of mixed blessing, though I would think there must be some kind of thing they can do beyond that. I wish you the best of luck and my prayers are with him. Excellent artistry as well.

Excellent image, Cheryl!! I agree... a mixed blessing indeed. Hopefully a cure will be found before he ever reaches that third stage.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) May faith, hope and love fill your brother's heart and flesh and uphold him by Jesus Our Lord and Savior! Superb portrait, really brings out your brother's spirit!

Leukemia was a children's diasease when I met it. There are horrible contexts today like no immunity equals no asylum. You can take comfort in the physical latency. Shrug off the prosecutors and embrace the radiologists. I'm not bored. Keep trying.

A wonderful portrait of your brother. All I can tell you is that the doctors don't know everything. All things are possible, ONLY BELIEVE!
