I usually don't upload another image
until I have responded to all the
comments from the last image, but I
was...Sooooo...excited about this painting.
This is my very first (ever) Hand-Painted
Watercolor. I am not sure why I decided
to try and do this, but something must
have attracted me to the concept. When
that happens, my husband knows I'm off
to spend some money...LOL! The one thing
I know for sure is...I LOVE IT!
Anyway, I did a very minor soft focus
in Paint Shop Pro 8. I welcome your
comments and am very thankful for your
visits. The original Eagle tutorial is

Cheryl my dear friend - I apologize for the apparent tardiness in my reply to your most welcome invitation to view this most excellent painting - but I have been away on a Convention since last Thursday, and returned only late last night (Monday evening). I must commence by echoing the astute observations of the rhetoric by 'SirJohn' - "...this is absolutely gorgeous and would be considered so even if it were your 200th try." Watercolors are not the easiest medium to paint with, and usually require many months of practice just to get the 'hang' of how they work with the various accouterments. For your very first "hand-painted watercolor" Cheryl - this is superior to many such paintings done by those who are considered professionals. Even your choice of subject must be highly praised because feathers are not easy to replicate in any painting medium - let alone watercolors. Without the smallest bit of exaggeration - I think this painting is truly a milestone in your journey as an artist. Well done and a much deserved vote!
