Description

ink lineart of my first postable HP fanart ^_^;;; i was fooling around, trying out renditions of sirius, and suddenly bellatrix was forcing her way out of my pencil, lol. after that, narcissa came easily. i kinda fiddled around with andromeda a bit, though, because she was being 'difficult'... L to R, Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Andromeda. i always picture bella as the baby of the bunch, and for some reason i've always thought cissy must be the oldest. *shrug* with a name like 'narcissa,' i figured ol'cissy just had to be completely obsessed with looks, so i gave her the absolute cutest hair i've ever drawn...i really like the way she turned out. i was trying for a slightly sour expression on bella (i think i got it) and a mischievous look on rommie's (i think i failed...she looks cross-eyed o_O)... JKR never mentions their houses, but of course bella and cissy are slytherins. duh. i figured that we don't hear enough of rommie for her to be a gryff, really, and i can't seem to picture her as a ravenclaw (she named her kid nymphadora for cryin' out loud...), so i just made her a hufflepuff. witness my terrible little deformed badger, lol. i can't help it! tiny badgers just won't hold still long enough to be drawn! XD anyway, so i just kinda put them in movie uniforms, since that's the only reference we have...but really this version of them is based completely on the books. this is the first thing i've done where i tried to get a uniform line out of each pen, but used several different thicknesses of pen. for some reason, it just screamed out for a bold outline. also, i couldn't think what to do with the bottom border, but i really wanted a bottom border....um, so witness my completely un-l33t border doodling skillz ^_^;;; millennium .01 and .05 mm pens, ZIG pigment marker.

very well done, and I love the expression of characters moods and personalities through names. Great work :)
