Description

lineart for my most recent project. (i really should be working on commission work, but i like this better, lol...) character from my own unpublished gothic/humor stories, Luce. he is, of course, Lucifer, the first angel, the Star of Morning. Lucifer is the vulgar form of Lucifera or Lucens Fero, which means 'lightbearer.' Luce is a little lazy and just a tad bit sarcastic at times; he owns a rave club called Freya's Embrace (which appears all through my fandoms, lol... FYI, Freya is a norse goddess, the chief of the Valkyries, whose duty it was to carry slain warriors to Valhalla). His appearance was based of a singer. he's popular enough that you may recognize him, or at least you might once i have him colored, so you can see the shape of his cheekbones etc. another experiment in multi-pen inking. the idea behind this is that, when i color him, his hand will be glowing (hence the outline in the color that his robes will be). i can't decide between light blue or light green eyes, though; any opinions? Millennium pens, ZIG pigment marker. steal and die.

ah, yes, purple! i hadn't thought of purple ^_^;;; i've got a marker that's a nice kind of light indigo color...that should do nicely, i think, if i layer it with some warm grey to make it a little more purplish.
