my first keeper
more an experiment than anything else.
so much to learn.
please let fly with both barrells as i need to figure out what i'm doin' wrong.
thank you Dirk for your help with some great spiral files.

Sorry I can't help, I only use Apo, but I think the texture on this looks great, keep up the good work !!!

This is not bad at all, and i think i see the emergence of spirals in your spiral. I can give you one tip, if you're computer is not toooo slow, render this XDspiral again on a resolution of, say, 2400x1800, go to bed, have a nice night sleep and meanwhile let it render on it's own until the count reaches something like 150. Then resize to 1024x768 and you will hardly recognize your spiral :-) Also, once it is rendered, try out different lighting settings on it. Hope this helps !

The texture rocks, and I like the colors.

To me, the texture, color and form really capture the concept. Perhaps a different, less concentric pattern for the background might enhance the main image??? :) Rik (:
