Description

Not quite certain certain if this is the proper venue... but photography is where I "hang out" so here it is. A colaborative effort which evolved from an idea (hardly original) into having a friend paint these faces which I then photographed, imported into PSP8, manipulated placement, sizes, coloring, etc. Tried texturing the "background", but the stark black seems to have the best visual effect. I fear I might be tinkering with this one ad infinitum. The original was painted in acrylics by, and the interpretation of, Ms. Amber Brown. Huge Kudos to Amber.

This is visually interesting. It looks like the sort of thing that would look good on the cover of some horror/suspense novel, or perhaps the inside of a metal disc. (I was thinking maybe black metal, but they seem to prefer imagery with more entrails and the like. Or was that grind metal? I get them all mixed up.) - The correct venue probably would be Mixed Medium, but close enough..

I love what you did with your friend's intense artwork!!! You made it even more dramatic & I think that black background was the best way to go!
