Description

The saga: Yes, this wasn't shot well. Went to a local historical house (circa 1725) and did a shoot... liked this window and returned to try for a better shot (i.e. framing/lighting) only to discover they no longer permitted taking photos, supposedly out of concern someone might profit from them. So did the best I could with what I had. A HUGE RASPBERRY to the historical society that manages the site for prohibiting photos. So much for southern hospitality and sharing Virginia's history. Also to this photographer for not getting a better shot the first time.

makes for a nicely framed capture of light... i'm always getting in trouble for taking pics in places that i shouldn't, makes you feel like a spy sometimes, ooooooh the danger of it!! :]

Yeah, they wont let me shoot all castles I want :( Same story, they make money out of this, and they say they use it for the preservation. Good story for them, to bad for us. Theu ask 1250 euro for a 4 hour shoot, non pro. Pro is more costly :) Kro no pro, at least at that time :) Beautiful window, perfect work.
