Description

Harbinger gentle wee herald with your lacklustre coat and your easy morning melody do you notice the delight in our eyes when a languid glance out our window shows you have found your way home? the ice of a winter night melts into a warm new day by the fire in the red of a robin

Very cool image and a great little story, shame folks are like that!! Weirdest bird rescue I ever did, was a hummingbird got caught in a spider web. Took a baseball hat and scooped her out, removed most of the webbing and away she went!!

I can't say which captured my interest most, my friend - the photograph, the poem or the covering story. All got my unstinting admiration: the photograph is a great capture, and so well composed; the poem is simply lovely - so full of hope, warmth and honey-slick flow; and the description could not fail to inform, amuse and stir to anger by turns. All-in-all simply magnificent, my dear Pat. vote

I think your photo is great with the sharpness and the old grey boards especially are fine. And the robin, so beautiful with your poem and story. The bird seems to be famialar to me, too. And shame on those neighbors....

Art as not only an aesthetic end but decisively an inspired vehicle for an unforced and natural compassion. I'm a fan, as, obviously, are many. Always want to see what pl will do next. As for the sadistic neighbours, bird poop on them everyone!

You did a great thing and your pathetic neighbors will get their own someday. Hopefully they will learn something from it but doubtful.
