Description

this rather odd assortment of pics is a compilation of everything ive done in the last couple of weeks, having just moved house i havent had a chance to post anything (not helped by a really crap ISP that will only guarantee 3 days continous service per month on 56k for the same price i used to pay in the uk for broadband!) hence me posting everything at once while im home visiting my folks. anyway, this odd bunch consists of 1, beware of the faries - my little rustboy tribute (i know the floor textures messed up- i`ll fix it). 2, finished d-day pic that i meant to post ages ago (sorry) 3, humvee thingy, modelling out of boredom + easiest vehicle to model as it has no curves at all! +wires & other renders to fill the gaps ;) comments / crits welcome... although it may be a couple of months before i get to read them. if your super desperate for me to read anything just email it to me at flakmonkey@fsmail.net that way at least i can check it on my mobile. (thanks for looking + sorry for the wierd messy post.)

Excellent work all around. Although the table surface for the D-Day image seems over-exposed. Great modeling work. I'm starting to work with Maya myself. I love it's workflow and interface. However I'm busy with visual effects for a film I'm working on so I won't be able to post anything yet. Soon I hope. Thanks for sharing your work. Great stuff.

These are really great, them all, but I'd say I'm specially fond of the d-day one: I think it's really fantastic, it would deserve a post of its own. I'm really amazed, for a newbie like me with Maya, such images are a great source of inspiration.

Cool work. I recoginzed the Rustboy character right away, but my favorite is the D Day piece.
