And all the infants have grown into men and built houses on the hill." ~Naomi Shemer~ This picture is a memorial tribute to Naomi Shemer, part of Israel's history and one of our greatest songwriters, who passed away recently. I have played her songs, especially this one, on piano and I used to sing it to my mother. It is my mother's favorite song for this reason. We can only thank God that this very special poet was among us for the time that she was and that she left such wonderful gifts behind.
