Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

Beautiful combination of models and renderings. I love the three vertical bands that seem to have been peeled off the foreground. And the pencil seems to have found its perfect place in the composition (in my opinion).

Another interesting piece... Reminds me of the art how-to books where a face slowly evolves from a sphere to become a peice of art, step-by-step.
